The property was fairly clean and staff was absolutely courteous and respectful. It had particularly good and absolutely perfect location near Cairns Tropical Zoo. There was an amazing restaurant, a shopping area and a night market next door. Very good service, though a few employees were not pleasant.

This place is reasonably priced and the staff are top-class. Nice cozy rooms complete with a balcony and comfortable bed, as for instance. The location is central, adjacent to Cairns on August 30th, convention centre, and restaurants. They have soft beverages in the Irish bar.
Didn’t dislike anything about the property.

Very convenient (cbd and wedding venue), good size rooms that were clean, continential breakfast was included in the price.
Parking could be a problem in busy times. Restuarant was very basic for dinner (possibly due to so much competetion on the esplande).

Staff were friendly, location was perfect for us. Rooms were well sized for a comfortable stay.
Phones did not work between rooms (were supposed to but were not functional). Aircons were loud. Rooms were a bit smelly. TVs did not view all channels (Free to Air).

The friendlyness of the staff, they were very helpful. The resort was close to a lot of the things that we wanted to do. Stayed with our kids on 1 night and the beds were fantastic, that was in a family room and on the 1st floor.
We stayed on the 3rd floor on our stay and the beds were as hard as rocks, which was disappointing. And the fire alarm went off at 2am in the morning and that was the end of my sleep for the night, so when I went to the wedding we went up for I looked like death warmed up.
